Two kinds of mask, one slim box
Fabric mask makers sell washable masks in prints and sizes. Many sell sets for a family or a week, and want a box that feels like a small gift.
Skincare brands sell sheet masks, peel-off masks and eye patches in sealed sachets. They ship packs of several sachets, often as part of a routine or monthly set.
Both products are flat and weigh very little. That changes the box: it should be shallow, light and tidy, with the masks lying flat inside.
Beauty brands selling masks alongside other skincare often ship both in one order. For mixed orders, our cosmetic shipping boxes for skincare orders carry the heavier items.
Wellness gift shops and spa retailers also order them for gift sets. A slim printed box makes a mask pack easy to add to a larger hamper.
Keeping the profile shallow
A deep box wastes space with flat products. Masks slide around, sachets bend and the parcel costs more to post than it should.
We set the depth to the stacked height of your pack plus a small allowance. Folded fabric masks and stacked sachets both stay flat and neat.
A shallow mailer can often travel as a large letter or small parcel depending on the carrier. Check your carrier's size bands, then we size the box to fit.
Our mailer box sizes guide shows how inside depth relates to outside dimensions for each board.
Shallow boxes also stack well at the packing table. A tower of slim mask mailers takes little room next to the label printer.
Pack layouts that work
The layout changes how the box opens and what the customer sees first. Here are the layouts we make most for masks.
A fanned stack shows every sachet design at once, which suits ranges with several mask types. A single neat stack suits repeat packs of one mask.
Tell us which layout you prefer when you send your pack photo. We draw it on the proof so you can judge how it looks open.
| Pack | Layout | Insert |
|---|---|---|
| Single fabric mask | Flat in a small mailer | Card backer |
| Family set of fabric masks | Side by side by size | Paperboard dividers |
| Five to ten sheet masks | One fanned stack | Paperboard sleeve |
| Weekly skincare routine | Row of labeled slots | Divider with day labels |
| Mask with eye patches | Two compartments | Two-cell insert |
Dividers and sleeves inside
Dividers keep each mask or sachet in its place. They stop sheet mask packs sliding into a pile and keep fabric masks separate by print or size.
A paperboard sleeve or backer holds a single fabric mask flat. It also gives you a second printed surface for the mask's size and fabric details.
For routine sets, label each slot with a day or step. Customers then use the masks in the order you intended.
Keep dividers low enough that fingers can reach each mask. Tall dividers look tidy but make the last sachet hard to lift out.
Dividers can be printed too. A soft brand color on the divider edges makes the open box look finished even before a mask is lifted out.
What to print inside the lid
The inside lid is the right place for short instructions. It is read once, at the moment the customer opens the box. Mask buyers often want these details:
Keep wording short and in a readable size. Small type on a glossy lid is hard to read in bathroom lighting, where many masks are used.
- Wash and care instructions for fabric masks
- How long to leave a sheet mask on
- Which skin types each mask suits
- The order to use a multi-step routine
- A QR code to a how-to video
Board and finish for a light product
Paperboard at 18–24 pt suits most mask boxes. It folds crisply at shallow depths and prints color photos sharply.
Choose E-flute corrugated if packs are heavier or ship long distances without an outer carton. It adds stiffness so the slim box does not bend in a mail sack.
Skincare brands often pick soft-touch or matte lamination with a spot UV logo. Fabric mask makers often prefer kraft with white ink for a handmade look.
Our white mailer boxes with clean print are a common base for skincare colors and product photography.
Bright pastel artwork is common on sheet mask boxes. White board keeps those tones clean, while kraft shifts them warmer.
Keeping the contents clean and sealed
Sheet masks and many fabric masks reach the box already sealed in their own pouch. The mailer protects and presents them but does not replace that seal.
If you want a visible sign that the box is unopened, a self seal strip or tear strip shows when someone has opened it.
Avoid health claims in your artwork unless you can support them. Describe the product, the fabric or the ingredients, and keep the wording factual.
For fabric masks, a printed paper band around each mask keeps it folded and clean. The band can carry the size and fabric so customers can tell masks apart.
Mask boxes in subscriptions and sets
Skincare brands often ship masks every month. A box sized to a fixed number of sachets keeps each delivery consistent.
If masks are one item in a larger kit, the mask box can sit inside the main subscription box. Our custom subscription boxes for monthly kits show how inner boxes fit.
Fabric mask makers sell seasonal and school sets in the same way. Matching print across sizes keeps the range recognizable.
Keep the outside design steady from month to month and change the inside print. Subscribers recognize the box on arrival but still get something new when they open it.
Fabric mask sets for children work well with a cheerful inside print. Parents often keep the box for storing spare masks.
Small mailers and cosmetic packaging
If you ship single masks or trial packs, a smaller mailer may suit better. See our small mailer boxes for light items for compact sizes.
Skincare brands that ship heavier orders, such as serums with masks, may need a sturdier carton outside the mailer. Pair the two so the slim box rides inside without sliding.
Order a few spare sizes in the first run if your range is still growing. It saves a rush order when a new pack size launches.
